Over the years, that curiosity has taken me across all 50 U.S. states and five continents, often spending months at a time immersed in different places, cultures, and ways of life.
I’ve explored the natural world through scuba diving, cave diving, shipwrecks, backcountry snowboarding, foiling, whitewater rafting, paragliding, skydiving, mountain biking, backpacking, and long days spent deep in the wilderness.
I’ve also spent years studying practices designed to explore the inner world: Vipassana meditation, yoga, pranayama, sweat lodges, Sundances, and other ceremonial traditions.
Professionally, I’ve worked in recruiting, operations, and startups, eventually co-founding Ridgeline Talent, a recruiting firm serving public accounting professionals.
Looking back, my life has been a collection of experiences aimed at exploring the edges: the edges of society, the limits of the mind, and the subtler ways people find meaning, purpose, and belonging.
What interests me most are the people who choose to live differently. The ones who question assumptions, follow unusual paths, and dedicate themselves to something larger than comfort or convention.
This site is where I share what I’ve found along the way.
